Microsoft Office for Mac OS X 10.3.9

I recently upgraded my operating system to Tiger Mac OS X 10.3.9
What version of Microsoft Office will work with my operating system?
What are the differences in a teacher/student version of Microsoft Office.
It seems that these versions are less expensive.

Your post does not seem to line up as far as your operating system is concerned. 10.3.x is Panther and 10.4.x is Tiger. So which one do you have? This will make a difference in which version of Mac:Office you can purchase/install. Here is the link to the system requirements for each version of Office:Mac:

If you have Tiger (10.4.x) you can purchase/install Office 2008 or 2004.

However if you have Panther (10.3.x) 2004 is the latest version of Office:Mac you can purchase/install.
