Hi all,
I would like to transfer a family audio recording from an old tape recorder (3"x1/4" tape reel) to a CD. I don't have any interface cables to go from the old recorder to my Macbook, so I figured I could use my Macbook microphone to capture the recording from the old recorder's speakers to my Macbook.
I opened System Preferences/Sound and got good response through the mike, but now to get that input to some program before burning it to a CD. I tried using Audacity but can't seem to use the microphone as input to it.
Does anyone know the best way for me to accomplish this transfer?
Thanks for any help,
Noel
