My experience installing BC 2.1 on my MacBook:
The update broke the ability to use the iSight camera from XP, caused the Apple keyboard not to work correctly, and intermittently breaks Blue Tooth.
I finally had to remove 2.1 and revert back to 2.0. I also had to use System Restore in order to remove the changes 2.1 made to the XP registry. Everything back to normal now.
It appears 2.1 breaks more than it fixes in XP but seems to benefit Vista users. Check out the Apple support forum for more info.
BTW, Apple says 2.1 should be installed prior to updating XP to SP3, however, users who already installed SP3 and are still using Boot Camp 2.0 say it works fine - no problems.
Regards.
