How noticeable is the difference between a 2.4 and 2.5 ghz penryn MBP? I know the 2.5 has twice the cache and twice the vram, but if you were given a blind test, no benchmarks, do you think you would be able to notice the difference?

Highly unlikely you'll notice the difference. Unless you can tell the difference between 3 min 45 sec and 3 min 53 sec without a stop watch.
