I recently bought Macbook Pro and was satisfied with almost everything except keyboard keys as there are no keys for rewinding songs. F7 which has an icon of function "expose" does not work and I have no idea how to bind F11 and F12 for rewinding songs. It really annoys me. Can anybody help me with it? I tried to change keys in system preferences/keyboard shortcuts but I am absolutely helpless.

The F7 key is used to switch between screen viewing modes when you connect your MBP to an external monitor. I have not yet come across way to remap F11/F12 keys.

rewind songs or skip forward and backwards? Cause I use command + directional keys to skip forward and backwards in iTunes but it has to be the active application for it to work. I wonder if this is something that could be solved using Quicksilver

There is no key for that function. Simple as that. You may be able to find a utility on Google to remap keys. OS X does not come with one by default.
