ProjectM Itunes help

I tried installing the Project M visualizer onto my itunes. However, when i double click on the projecy m bundle, it just opens itunes (or brings it to the front) I click on view>visualizer and all there is is the default itunes visualizer. (running iTunes ver. 7.6) I tried the bundle in the DMG and the bundle transfered on my HD, and restarted iTunes.. and no avail.

1) Double-click on DMG
2) Copy projectM.bundle to ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins
3) Restart iTunes
4) Select "View > Visualizer > projectM"
5) Play music and watch eye candy The keys are: n - next preset p - previous preset r - random preset F3 - show preset name
