French Keyboard Map

Hi there. First post on the forum. I just got an iBook G4, and I can't find a map for the French Keyboard anywhere.

I normally use the English only map, but I take a French class and, for instance, when I hit "?", I get a French character, which is good. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to just get a plain "?" or an apostrophe either.

So where can I find out how to work the French (technically Canadian) keyboard?

TIA :dummy:

Hey,

Go to system preferences -> international -> input menu -> check 'french' -> check 'show input menu in menu bar'

Now, in your menu there should be a flag. Click the flag, select 'french' or whatever from the list, and then click 'show keyboard viewer' from the flag list. A window then appears, and it has the whole keyboard layout.

Good luck, hope this helps.

Hmm. There is no option for 'show keyboard viewer' in that flag menu.
