I have an older imac g3 I am putting in a bigger hard drive and some new ram and im having several problems. first off I got pc 133 ram, which I thought was the right stuff but it didnt work (i.e. wouldnt boot) so I put in old ram and it booted up the the install disk like it should, but now it will not recognize the drive when it says select a place to install
i've tried the disk utility repair verify and every thing else I can think of

Any ideas are welcome

I am in need of some help asap
Thanks

How big is the drive? The older G3s don't know what to do with drives bigger than 128 gigs (formatted).
