Restore Without Disk

I lost the two grey disks that came with my macbook
Is there a way that i can restore back to out of box settings or download a program to do it
I feel a bit of a noob asking this but my macbook is screwed and i really do not know what to do
i have a late 07 early 08 macbook black with leopard pre-installed

Icons have disappeared, wireless won't work, finder freezes, trash won't delete, everything is really slow and my iphone won't sync

Poor

i'm a poor student so i really don't want to have to pay for it
i just spent £1400 on this MacBook with aperture for my photography and now i'm struggling to survive

I don't mean to be rude, but if you're really reliant on the machine, why on earth did you lose the install discs? I know that's not helpful, but the mind boggles, it really does.

As the machine is quite new and under warranty, take it to an Apple store and explain to the genius that you're a badly organised poor student, and you lost your discs, and could they replace them for you... pretty please. They might charge you a nominal fee, but it won't be more than the price of a retail copy of Leopard.

i went to my local apple store and they restored it back to leopard after a long talk with apple care, didnt install iLife but at least my mac works again and buying iLife is cheaper than paying £100 for replacement disks that apple care wanted because it came pre-installed with extra software.
