New MacBook Pro

I just wanted to let everyone know that I just got a new MBP 2.4. I love this machine. My 3rd Mac. First was a G4 500 I bought off of eBay. Second was a Mac Mini. I am really enjoying it so far.

Yep must say im also getting the MBP as i have just purchased the Mackbook 2.1G for work (i work offshore) and now want to replace the desktop (pc) but thourght i will get the MBP for the wife when she goes away as she can be mobile as well.....

I truly enjoy my MBP. Ive since gotten my mom an imac 20". She loves it. I gave my nephew my VAIO for college.

Next Purchase is the MBP 15.

nice computers...yes. don't regret my purchase at all. i had to replace the battery after 11 months (only a little over a week ago), but hopefully this one should hold up. either way it's covered for 2 years under battery update so i guess i'm covered until june 2009.

I live in the Seattle area. I drove down to Portland the other day and bought a MBP. 2.5ghz/4gig/250g/8600gtm.

Saved 300.00 in sales tax baby! Whoo hoo.

The kicker is, I drive a 2001 VW TDI Jetta that gets 60+ MPG. It only cost me 15.00 in fuel to get there and back! (350 miles)

Wow, where did you get gas for $2.60 a gallon? Were paying almost $4 a gallon over in Chicago

350 miles / 60 mpg = 5.8 gallons.

I started using WVO (Waste vegetable oil) a few weeks ago. Part of my tank was filled with fuel that cost me a little over .80c a gallon.
