ipod stuck at Apple loading screen.

kk so i have a 5th gen 30gb ipod whom i borrowed, i put it into my macbook, it recognized it, and now its stuck at a apple screen, i tried reseting it and everything. so i just joined this site so... im sorry if theres another thread regarding this

Ok you said you borrowed it, did the person who borrowed it from have it formated for a windows based computer? That can sometimes be the problem you would have to format it to work on a mac through iTunes.

If that is not the problem hold down the menu and center button this should restart it.

If neither of these work take it to your local apple store they are very helpful.
