I just ordered my first Mac Pro? I'm switching from PC to Mac. I live in New York and was wondering how long is the actual standard free shipping take. I just checked my account and it says its prepared for shipping. How many day did it take from this point for you to get your machine?

I believe it is 3-day shipping so once you get your tracking number, start counting!

Its takes an eternity when your waiting. You could have real fun whilst your waiting by kicking the crap out of your windows machine.

If it's a custom order, it also takes longer to assemble than if you buy the default.

Mine was custom ordered. Took them about 2 or 3 weeks. Made me long for the days when I could create my own computer and be done with it in a few hours.
