Used NVU and found it not very good at editing PHP files, used Microsoft Expression on PC previously and found it really good for PHP editor. Is there Mac's alternative ?

Haven't used Microsoft Expression, but Smultron is a good, free text editor with support/colorhiglighting for most languages.

If you want something a little more sexy and function filled, take a look at Coda.

What is it that you are looking for in a PHP editor exactly? Like has been mentioned there is Coda, then BBEdit, Textmate, and plenty others.
