- iBook g3 800Mhz 640mb Ram... New Battery, New Power Adapter, New Dc-In Board, Mac Osx Tiger 1.4.11
Ok, This is the basic rundown.
-Ibook g3 800Mhz 640mb Ram 12" screen
->Whats Wrong
-Won't recognize battery(It won't turn on with just the battery)
-Will still draw power for 10 seconds if I unplug it while running.
-Battery has 3 dots illuminated when I press the button on the battery.
-"No Batteries Avaiable" is displayed when I check the status of the battery in Osx.
->What I've done to attempt to fix this problem
-Bought New battery
-Bought New Power Adapter
-Bought(and properly installed) a New DC-In board
-Zapped Pram 3 times
-Reset nvram and Reset all(in Open Firmware)
-Reset PMU(With Key Combination, Confirmed with incorrect date when starting after resetting)
-Cleaned all the battery contacts(didn't Help)
->Additional Details
-I don't have a local Apple Store
-My Notebook is not under warranty
-This is a problem that recently erupted, This notebook once recognized and charged the old battery(Which probably never even had to be replaced).
Please Help. I don't know what else to do...
