admin?

i was wondering if theres a way to change my non-admin mac account to an admin account.

help please :)

Ensure you are logged into an Admin account. This will be the one you set up when you first set up the computer. Then you will need to open System Preferences - Accounts and click on your username then put a tick in the "Allow user to administer this computer" box.
