Yep. It looks like some of the eMac's can even take Leopard (os 10.5), but you didn't specify which eMac you have.
Also, if you haven't already, max out the RAM.

My 1ghz eMac runs fine on Panther, with 756 meg of ram.

Your eMac will handle Tiger, and Leopard, very nicely, but suggest you have at least 1GB RAM installed.
