remove partition

hi,

just recently i have added a partition with disk utility. now i have partition #1 and #2. i would like to get rid of partition #2 and all of its datas. but i need my data from my partition #1.

i would be very delighted to get some answers.

iMac 17" 1Ghz G4  iPhone 3G  10.5.5
Use Disk Utility and select the partition, then the Erase tab.
You'll be able to erase it from there.

i've tried that before. but that only erases the data on the partition, but does not remove it.
