- 20" 2.4 GHz iMac w/ 4GB RAM & 320GB HD
I figured that I could use TimeMachine to transfer all files from my PowerBook to my new iMac using the restore function. I'm worried about overwriting some of the programs on the iMac that I don't have on the PowerBook. Basically I want to transfer over the programs, files, and settings from my PB to the iMac while keeping some of the preinstalled programs on the iMac intact. Is there an easy way to do this?
