Keyboard Volume Control

White Macbook 1GB RAM 80 GB Combo Drive
When you press F3, F4, or F5, it usually controlls the volume. It worked before but now it doesn't work at all. The buttons themselves work but the little window with the volume bar doesn't come up.

You have a different MB than me. My volume controls are F10 - F12, all while holding down the fn key.

open system preferences,

click keyboard and mouse
click the keyboard tab
uncheck all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.

try that...
