After being frustrated with the discomfort of using the MacBook, I traded with my brother and now I own an iMac. It does OK, but I don't have the utmost trust in it. I'm really starting to think now that the Vostro was intended for my mom, so I'm gonna stop using it. If I get another Mac notebook, i'm looking at a few options. The hard drive space on my iMac is limited, and my WD external doesn't work reliably, I'd like a non-windows laptop that I can use for my daily work.

Here are my choices

For these, I would sell my iMac
Refurb MBP 2.4 GHz 15 inch
MB - 2.2 GHz.

For these, I would keep my iMac. Since the iMac is a powerful computer that still works, I would prefer these

15inch PowerBook 1.67 GHz from Wegener Media
17 inch 1.67 GHz PowerBook from Wegener Media

What do you guys think?

before you go buy something at wegener media you may want to check ebay. probably find some better prices there. For the price of the WM base model you could pick up a PB fully loaded

The PowerBooks are still pretty good. Try and get the high resolution 1.67 GHz, with 128 MB video ram.

Alright.

I'm not really a fan of e-Bay but I'll check it out.

The PowerBooks are still good.

Why don't you go for the MB 2.2 Ghz? It's a good balance against the 2 extremes.
