.DS_Store Help!

Hello all, I'm pretty new to Mac (so far loving it hehe), and I'm getting a .DS_store icon on my desktop which was never there, when i delete it it instantly comes back. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Did you run an application that unhide hidden files?

Yes, i had a problem earlier with my MAC HD icons so i had to run some terminal command wich i had read here. Can i reverse it?

The 2nd post down tells you how to hide or unhide. Hope that helps.

Be sure to relaunch Finder.

Download MainMenu, launch it and go to the Finder section -> Hide Invisibles.

Yes but your way is so much nicer. I forgot all about MainMenu doing that. Thanks for the reminder.
