iBook G4 screen issues

When I turn my Ibook g4 on the screen will turn different solid colors

blue/ green / yellow/ black etc

I was able to get the machine to boot once but unable to anymore -- tried test memory / removed wlan card --- logic board problem ?

Sounds like you are the proud owner of the G4 GPU problem.

There are various remedies ranging from sticking a plastic shim between the GPU and the inside of the case, to flashing the back side of the logic board with a plumber's torch. None of them work for long.
The only good news is that it will boot in Target mode and you can get your files off of the drive.
