Being a fresh Mac convert please be gentle with me!

Every time I return to my iGoogle home page I have to sign in again. I have the 'remember me' box ticked but I can't find what other settings would cause this.

It's driving me insane and making me use Firefox instead which I don't want to do.

Any ideas from the intelligenterate?

Many thanks

Well mine is "Always". Not sure if it should make any difference with regard to iGoogle though.

Maybe you could try resetting Safari? Safari > Reset Safari. Then quit it and try again.

It could be that Google is not setting the cookies in the way that Safari is able to read it.. Im going to test it now and see what happens.

Hmm.. nope, I quit the browser and restarted it and I am still logged in to my Google Apps for Business.. let me check iGoogle, nope still logged in.. and yeah I have Always accept cookies also.

I'm accepting cookies from only to sites I navigate to. Im using Safari on Windows though, but it still allows me to keep it. Are you browsing "privately"? Edit>Private Browsing...

Okay here's your chance. Safari has just been updated to 3.1.1. See if it fixes the problem.

Anyone know how to reset the plist file of Safari?

Same way you reset all plist files: delete 'em :)

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.safari.plist (~ means your home folder).
