Photoshop/illustrator brushes

hello,

I am new to the adobe products.....I have found plenty of cool brush sets online that are free but im curious as to how i install them...can i just double click them and they will install or do i have to put them into a brushes folder.


If this is the case...do I have to put the file in a folder for both photoshop and illustrator??

I've never installed brushes for Illustrator so you'll have to google it up yourself (the info must be online for sure) but for Photoshop I dragged and dropped in the Adobe Photoshop Only brushes folder. Path is this :

Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Adobe Photoshop CS2 -> Presets -> Brushes -> Adobe Photoshop Only.
