efi firmware not on updater

Black Macbook 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo penryn, 2 gb ram, 250 gb harddrive, gma x3100 Feb 2008
i saw that there was an efi firmware available for macbooks from other websites but it doesnt show up on my software update. why is this?

i have a black macbook 2.4 feb 08 model

Just a wild guess. But maybe it doesn't apply to your macbook?

Give your system the benefit of the doubt that it can figure out if it needs the update or not :)

I have a 2.4 also and the update didn't apply either.
