Firefox runs audio slowly :(

Basically, if i open a dmg file of Firefox and dont install it in my Applications. Everything works fine.

HOWEVER

If i have it installed in my applications. Any audio on websites like youtube or myspace becomes jumpy even if they have downloaded/buffered 100%

I cant figure out whats making it do this?

What Mac do you have? Specs please and which version of OSX are you running?

Oh, and safari in comparison works fine. I dont know why Firefox started being crap recently. It just did...

I've found that firefox 3b4 plays flash a little.... off. and 3b5 doesnt play the audio in flash movies AT ALL.

what version of FF are you using?

the latest. and ive tried beta aswell... same problem. even with earlier versions same problem.

firefox works mounted virtually, but installed it has this problem..
