Hi all,

I'm trying to reinstall Leopard, so I insert my install disk (I have the "Upgrade DVD") which mounts, and opens a finder window with the icon to double click to launch the installer.

I click this, it opens a window with a button that restarts the computer. This (I assume) is so that the computer will boot from the DVD. Clicking this causes the computer to restart.

After a few minutes of the apple icon and the spinning "gear" the computer just **shuts down**.

What's going on? How can I fix this?

I'd try with my Tiger install disk, but I can't find disk 1 >:p

Can anyone advise me? Thanks!
