RSS - Desktop or web?

one thing I'm trying to decide between its whether I should use a desktop or a web based RSS reader.

What do you use, Web based or desktop-based RSS readers? Also why do you use this option?

I use Mail as my RSS reader simply because it's convenient.

I did that originally, but I like to keep my mail and RSS feeds separate.

I used News fire before and now I'm fiddling around with Google reader. I like the idea of global reader because I can get my RSS feeds anywhere
