Cables droping behind desk

When im at home I plug my monitor, USB hub & speaker cable into my macbook pro. The problem I have is keeping these cables tidy and stopping them falling down behind the back of the desk when they are not plugged in.

What do you do to keep y our cables tidy?
Wha do you do to stop them falling behind the desk?

I was thinking of something like The dell Laptop docking station. Is there anything like this for the macbook pro?

No docking stations or port replicators for macbooks. Shame really, I'd quite like one, the one for my Thinkpad gets used quite frequently.

I attach stuff to the under side of my desk (including router, external hd) and then throw all the powerbricks into my cable organizer portion of my desk (ikea fredrick)

You'd really hate my cable jungle here.......3 fully functional PCs along one wall one with dual monitors, one of my eMacs and my laptop that joins in on the fun occasionally, plus my complete home edtertainment center, the wiring is to be honest, overwhelming behind it all, I'm wanting to improve the cable management too.....looking for ideas.....
