Macbook Not working (booting)

I really need help today for some reason my caps lock button was inversed, when it was off it would write in caps and when it was on it would write small letters so i restarted my computer and it wont boot up again, it stays at the grey apple screen with the spinning wheel

any help would be appreciated

Give Disk Utility a try first.

Did anything happen before the problem started? (power outage, hardware or software updates, etc..?)

Which Macbook are you using?

my suggestion: have you tried the PRAM reset? Otherwise contact Apple support.
