Quicktime Videos?

Hey guys,
on my MacBook Pro, there are numerous problems with my Quicktime. When I view video tutorials on the Apple site, no video comes up... only sound. I have to refresh a couple of times before it works.

Although I have Flip4Mac, VLC, Perian I can't view some Quicktime videos such as ones on macProvideo.com. This is what I get, there is sound, but no image comes up (videos).

What version of Quicktime do you have installed. The new High def ones require Quicktime 7 at least.
