My original Tiger install disk 1 got damaged - luckly I have it all backed it up in a dmg file. How can I turn this file into a bootable CD? I need it to run an utility check on my (not working) G4.

I have only got accesss to a PC now and tried using Nero but I don't think this worked!

Please HELP I want my G4 back - can't stand this PC!

You need to find someone with a Mac. It is necessary to open Disk Utility, drag the .dmg file image to the left hand column, select, and hit the burn button after inserting a blank CD/DVD.

Tom when you get a new OS always copy the install DVD/CDs and use these on a day to day basis and save the original discs.
