can I sync and iPod Touch to Address Book and iCal

I currently use a very basic palm to sync to my Address Book and iCal on my iMac.

Can I replace my palm with an Ipod Touch, does the ipod Touch Sync with Address Book and iCal on an iMac.

If I can sync, Is it possible to sync wirelessly?

I think I have finally found an excuse to purchase an ipod touch
