Phantom message in Drafts... how to delete it?

I use Mail for my Email program. I was writing an Email, then decided not to finish it and went to FireFox for a site. When I returned to Mail, there was a "1" next to my "Drafts" folder but there's no text. When I try to delete it, it won't let me. I tried moving it to Trash but that didn't work, either. I tried rebooting and that didn't work. When I double-click it, it just sits there. Any ideas how I can delete it will be appreciated. TIA.
