Hey, just wondering. I've looked around for ages looking for ways to change my OSX from 10.3.9 to the better and brighter 10.5.x

Just wondering, is it actually possible without having to buy new computer parts (HD etc). A lot of websites have been doubting this motion but I would really love to run 10.5.x on my iMac

Stats:
Processor: 1.25 GHz PowerPC
Memory: 512 MB DDR SDRAM

Thanks.

Technically your computer should run 10.5 just fine. But your ram amount is quite borderline. I'd upgrade that to 2GB. Then it should run ok I think.

Do you have a DVD drive?

If so, just buy a copy of Leopard and you're good to go. Your machine is fine (although a gig of RAM would make things a bit better)
