I let my trial membership to .mac expire a few weeks ago. I have no intention of starting it up again. It seems to me the only benefit of the iSync agent is to sync files on my computer with online storage through .mac, and I no longer can do that, so I want to get rid of the iSync agent. But I can't. I can't trash it, can't eject it, can't move it somewhere else.

Is there a benefit to keeping it? And if not, how do I get rid of it?

iSync isn't only for syncing with .mac It can also be used to sync phones and pdas. it doesn't take much space so i'd say leave it.. check apple's isync page for more info and a list of supported devices.

Thanks. I tried to figure this out and could not. It's annoying, though, that I get a message every time I start my machine that my account with .mac has expired. I know it expired and I don' t care so I'd like to get rid of that message. Any ideas?
