I've been asked to look at a G4 455? running OS9, with a smashed RJ11 internal modem socket, I've got an external modem(Swann Macsurfer 56k USB) which I'm trying to get configured.
The modem configuration panel though doesn't appear to have the option to select an external modem, and the help page suggests this option may not be available.
Is this possible or are there other ways to get round this problem?
Any advice would be appreciated
