Which keyboard combination will switch between languages?

I have few languages I've set in the top bar.
Which keyboard combination will switch between them? I've read somewhere that it's the Command + Space but that only opens the spotlight search.

Yea, I don't know why, but they have the same key combination for spotlight and the language input menu. If you go to system preferences>keyboard & mouse and go to the Keyboard Shortcuts tab you can either disable the spotlight shortcuts or make up your own shortcuts for the input menu options, whatever you want to do. (Both are toward the bottom of the list under Input Menu and Spotlight)

In the Input Menu and Spotlight I don't see a language change option.
Can you please give me a step-by-step solution to this if I want for example to set ALT+SHIFT to switch between the available languages (like in the PC)?
