Help with Airport Express

I have a airport express to stream music to my garage. My problem is I have a 2.4 ghz cordless phone system. Every time I am listening to music via airport express and the phone rings it will cut out.

I am not really competent with all the settings and such on my imac, so if someone could, walk me through step by step on how to change the frequency of airport so the phone will not cut off the music, I would be grateful.

Open AirPort Admin Utility, located in /Applications/Utilities.
Select the base station and click Configure.
Click AirPort, and then choose a new channel from the Channel pop-up menu.
You can also try changing the channel on the phone as well.
