iTunes and Quicktime Updates

Hello, I've recently installed the latest versions of iTunes and Quicktime through Software Update and now iTunes is broken (it crashes before it gets to the interface) and Quicktime can only play video files (it crashes when I try to play an audio file).

Has anyone else found this issue with this upgrade? I'm using Tiger 10.4.11 at the moment.

Goto Utilities>Audio MIDI Setup
Check whether Format is set to 44100.0Hz

When you install 3rd party software, then tent to change this to a higher figure causing problems after the update.

Oddly, it seems to have just self-righted itself without my intervention. Thanks anyway though dude. :)
