Hi all
I have been using my DV Camcorder to import footage into iMovie. However recently, when I plug my JVC GR-DVL200 Camcorder into my MacBook via a firewire cable, iMovie either doesn't notice the Camera is their, or the screen goes slightly darker and everything, including my mouse freezes. Then a small transparent box appears in the centre of the screen telling me that I need to restart my computer by holding down the power button (it is written in several different languages). When I boot up my system again it tells me that OS 10.4 has resently crashed, and asks me to send a report to Apple.
This has ONLY ever happened when my camcorder has been plugged in, ready to import into iMovie.
Can any help me??
Thanks alot.
