Hi all,

I have recently been converted to a MB from the MS treadmill. Overall, I am very happy. The one thing I cannot abide, however, is iTunes. I am not trying to start a flame war here. I am glad if you like it, but I am not impressed. What are the best Mac MP3 Player alternatives?

No Real Player please!

I really value open formats and DRM free the most. I was a big fan of MMJB 10 before Yahoo ruined it. Would love suggestions.

I used to dislike iTunes as well and used EphPod on my Windows PC back in the day for a while instead...
But the more my music collection grew, the more I came to appreciate iTunes.

You can add open formats to it and there's no reason to mess with DRM in iTunes unless you choose to do so. There's a ton of scripts and plugins for it too.

Not trying to convince you either way, I just know from past experience that it can take a while to warm up to.
