I just got my iMac yesterday and the keyboard has icons on most of the "F" keys. F1 and 2 are my brightness, dashboard is F4, volume is 11 and 12. Well, all was well until about 10 minutes ago when, for some reason, they all seemed to switch. I had to go into the shortcuts and switch dashboard to F4, but none of the others work. Somehow F12 was now dashboard and not my volume. My friend who uses Mac's used screen sharing to setup my spaces but he wouldnt screw something up without knowing he did (as smart as he is). He is also unsure of what the problem is. I even installed the updates. If

Restoring to defaults actually puts dashboard at F12.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

I have another two questions.

1) When playing WoW, I cant "Alt +tab" to take me to my desktop. Is this possible on Mac?

2) Most importantly, I've been playing WoW and been getting almost disconnected from my internet. I'll see a monster and go to attack it but nothing happens. Sometimes it comes back and I'm dead or I have to exit and login again. Either way, I die. My ping bar ends up being red with 1000 ping. I thought maybe it was our router (linksys WRT54G running 10MB down/764kbs up) so I pinged google on my roommates PC (his room is about 2 feet from mine) and he gets 19ms.

I get this:

It has me very worried since WoW is a main reason why I bought my iMac. I was going to buy a gaming PC but WoW is really all I play and I love OSX.

Can anyone help me please?

Do I need to get a airport extreme or something?

The router is downstairs in the laundry room and I am upstairs but I never had this problem on my PC.
