Gaps/Spacers In the Dock?

Is it possible to inset your own spacers or separators (like the one which splits the flip out folders) in the dock so I can separate different applications?

Under 10.5 you can open a terminal and enter..


defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps -array-add '{tile-data={}; tile-type="spacer-tile";}'

Need to restart the dock to see the changes. You can drag spacers around as required.

Edit: Never mind, I just fount it. Killall Dock

If you have Onyx, there is an option to add spaces to the dock. For those afraid of the terminal
