Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a new computer, and the idea was to build a PC, though some have recomended an 8 core Mac Pro as they beleive it will suit what i want it for which is for 3D-Visualisation using things like Max, photoshop etc.
I know very little about PC's and even less about Macs so was hoping you guys could shed some light on the subject for me.
Does using bootcamp mean that i can use the same programs that i used on my existing PC, on the mac? So i dont need to buy new copies?
Also, on the Mac website, it seems to say that boot camp only allows for the 32-bit releases of Windows, will that not mean the 8gig of ram i intended to buy will be useless when im using programs such as Max on windpows?
Thanks for your time.
