I have a Linux based NAS (Icy Box IB-4220-B), which supports sharing either Samba or NFS, obviously I'd rather not used Samba although simpler to implement.
I have tried:

I then tried using finder Go > Connect to Server, using:
And I get:
My OS X username and password are identical to the username and password on the NAS, the NFS shares have been set up wth the correct IP addresses for both my Macs.
I can't find /etc/fstab and don't know what to put in an new file.
Any help would be much appreciated.

nfs://host/path
nfs://host:/path

Could not connect to the server because the name or password is not correct.
