Re-install OS iBook G4 dilemma

Hi,

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to re-install OS 10.4 on my ibook G4 using the OS 10.4 discs that came with my Power Mac G5?

All help is appreciated.

Nope. Those discs are specific to the model it came with. You either need the original discs that came with you ibook or the full retail version.

Your Mac's Specs
Silver M1 iMac 512/16/8/8 macOS 11.6
The discs you need sxsi are Tiger full retail install DV D. Make sure this is the black colored discs and NOT the grey system specific restore discs.
