I have the Xbox 360 VGA cables, and the MacBook Mini DVI to VGA cable.

I tried hooking them all together, to hopefully get the MacBook screen to be a TV for my Xbox. My MacBook screen ends up showing the Desktop and then showing a blue solid screen, then going back to the Desktop.

Any ideas?

that an output for an external display on the macbook, not an input.

that's probably because the video connection on the MB is an output, not an input.

(Edit: matt beat me to it!)

No it is strictly an input
EyeTV is different because it is using a USB port not a mini dvi

Is there anyway to play PS2 on the MacBook Pro?

Nope, heck ya can't even patch a PS2 to a VGA monitor without an interface box from a third party.....and yes, the video connection on just about every laptop made in the last 20 years be it Mac or Windows based, is an output, not an input.

****. Someone needs to make a little box that'll do it, and they'll be rich.
