• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I put this question in switcher but maybe it belongs here.

Hi All,
I need your help. In the PC world I use a program called ProShow Gold and really like it. I am thinking of buying Keynote and was wondering if anyone is knowable about both programs. I would like to know if Keynote can do all that P/S Gold can do.
The things that are important to me are:
Zoom in or out
Pan
Set duration (Imovie limits the duration) of each slide and transition
Set length of any music track with fade in and out
Save the file so PC users can view the show and make it small enough to be able to e-mail it
I am probably asking a lot, but these are things I can do in P/S Gold.
Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Al
