Preview Crashing

iMac 20" 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 4gig,Mac OS X Maverick, Macbook Intel 2gig, iPhone 3G
Im having trouble with preview crashing. I have done permissions repair, my system is up to date and all other software running perfectly...
Today I tried to open some images with preview but it just crashed.
Any ideas:Grimmace:

Did you try trashing the Preview preference file ?

The path is :

Macintosh HD -> Users -> Your user account -> Library -> Preferences -> com.apple.Preview.plist

Drag that file to the trash, restart in Safe Boot mode by holding down the Shift key, log in your account.

Restart again, normally this time, and see if it doesn't help.
